Part 2: Okay, so this and Part 3 im not sure on entirely. I think the anime part 2 ending is better, but in the manga Part 3 wins. Im gonna go with my gut here and say that the ending of JoJo's first season was amazing. The reason I don't like this is that JoJo tends to stick to relatively realistic actions and consequences. Characters getting older makes them weaker. Characters are always vulnerable. Even in Part 8, we see Josuke arrested for "killing" that one guy out in public.
